Do you believe in Cornerstone’s mission to aid the mental health of the less fortunate? Participate in it!
We are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to mental health services when they need them regardless of income. This however, results in a shortfall between revenue obtained from clients and our delivery costs. In order to pay for our costs we fundraise for our Compassion Fund which we use to subsidize costs.
If you are interested in sponsoring a program or an event please contact Amanda Morris, Communications and Development Specialist at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Come lend a hand! We need volunteers to help with special events, committees, office administration, donation programs, and donor communication. Volunteers are extremely valuable as they make Cornerstone more visible and sustainable. If you feel you have skills to contribute as a volunteer or are interested in developing new skills through volunteering, Cornerstone would love to hear from you. Thank you for your interest in completing your counselling practicum at Cornerstone Counselling. Cornerstone has a robust student program that provides practicum students with opportunities to work with adults, couples, and groups. Opportunities to work with teens and children may also be offered, subject to the availability of specialized supervision. All students will have an individual supervisor and group supervision as well as additional training opportunities. We strive to offer an excellent training program that will set all our students on the right path for their careers.
Our counselling practicums are open to students who are enrolled in a master level or above counselling program from a recognized Alberta university. Students from out-of-province masters’ programs will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
